I found the edge of the world in my pocket
And whispered its secrets to a crow
Dew seeped through my socks
Must of rained yesterday

Sometimes when I am really upset, I vomit.
Who defines normal anyways?
Collar bones and broken eyes
The wind even laughs when I talk to her

Fear is my friend last night
Wasn’t quite sure what she wanted
My face is that tragic painting
That the whole world wanted to see

There is a story inside of me
Screaming to be free
Raw to the point of scarring
A Walking contradiction

I am too wild for this cage
My wings need room to fly
The crows don’t even know
Her witness that day was the sky

Writing poetry is very therapuetic, eh? :)

I love the first stanza, especially the line "dew seeped through my socks." I think it's a wonderful image.

I didn't even realize how capable you were to write this. This is so beautiful. Crows have always been such spiritual birds to me. It's like they're always listening when no one else seems to be.

Thanks Brian, that means a lot. This poem was like inside of my for sooo long, it was nice to finally just let it free. I love crows, I used to talk to them when I was little.
